Done for the Global Game Jam 2016, however, this version has minor changes and bugfixes and has been exported for browser play. (the game was originally intended to be played as a native full-screen executable)

This build has broken jump physics, which kind of ruins the whole experience. I am adamant that it worked perfectly when first uploaded, years ago... So, I have no idea why it's broken now. Unfortunately, I don't have the time or energy to update this.

Instructions:

Collect the 5 items scatted across the map, whilst all 5 are held the spell book will be visible to you and must be collected to carry out the ritual. (hint: The spell book is invisible without the 5 items so it may be somewhere you have already explored!)

Place the items on the pedestals and stand in the middle with the spell book to complete the ritual.

The blue rings are check-points and will save your collected items and progress, as will placing an item on a pedestal.

If you die you will be returned to the last check-point you reached, any items not saved at a check-point will be returned to their original positions when you die.


Controls:

Move:     A and D  or  Left and Right arrow keys

Jump :     W  or  Up arrow key  or  SpaceBar

Hold the jump button to jump higher, tap for a smaller jump
